Cottesloe Naturopathic Clinic was established in 1991 by Perth naturopath and homeopath Michael Blanch. Having practiced since 1984, Michael is one of WA’s most experienced practitioners. He has also lectured in natural therapy colleges for most of this time.

The clinic integrates a full spectrum of traditional and modern approaches in naturopathy and homeopathy. However, in contrast to many naturopaths in Perth, we do not prescribe an extensive range of supplements and herbals to each individual patient , most of which give only symptomatic relief and usually cost hundreds of dollars. You will be treated accurately and precisely with a minimum of medication that will fit in a small sandwich bag, not a shopping bag!

We believe in the healing powers of the body, and we treat the person, not just the symptoms of the disease. The true naturopathic approach is to optimise diet and lifestyle, and if medicines are given they need to treat the whole person holistically.

That is why the remedies used are almost exclusively homeopathic. Homeopathy is a precise, accurate and economic system of medicine. It stimulates the healing response of the body and works towards balancing the underlying issues. Symptomatic relief can usually be achieved quickly, in a matter of hours in acute conditions, or days in chronic conditions. Under the influence of the remedy, the body itself is given the space to heal. In time, after several months of consistent treatment, the body is often able to maintain the improvement on its own, and that is our goal.

Treatment is only determined after an extensive consultation, taking all aspects of the person into account: mental emotional and physical. No over-the-counter sales are done in any circumstances.
