This Perth naturopathic clinic offers treatment for a wide range of health issues. In fact, almost anything will benefit from homeopathy in conjunction with naturopathic lifestyle management.

The focus is always on the person: it is our job to find the cause of the problem, which most often lies in the balance of symptoms on all levels of the body, the mind and the emotions. Our treatment is holistic, meaning it takes into account all those levels. The person is seen as an individual in relation to their diet and lifestyle, their work, their inherited weaknesses, their family and their personal relationships. All of these things determine the pattern of health.

Homeopathic treatment is individual, and no over the counter prescriptions are made. It does not focus on the name of the disease. That is why the initial naturopathic/homeopathy consultation at our Perth clinic takes up to an hour. While we do not treat life threatening conditions, in most cases drugs can be replaced or reduced, provided you are also being monitored by your doctor.

Homeopathy offers a valid alternative, when supported by healthy lifestyle changes. Improvement occurs because the body’s own immunity and healing responses are mobilised. That is why we find that those treated according to naturopathic and homeopathic principles have a stronger immunity and resilience the next time they are faced with a stress or infective agent.

Please understand, as noted on the home page, we do not treat, life-threatening conditions; and if a patient is already on drug medication they will be advised to see their physician before they attempt to stop or reduce medication. Also, if they are not responding to our treatment in a reasonable time, they will be encouraged to seek medical treatment as a safety net.

Acute problems are effectively treated by homeopathic remedies, whether the cause is a virus or bacteria. With acute problems, the definition is that the body eventually gets well on its own, but homeopathy assists that process and reduces or eliminates the need for drugs. That means that we frequently and successfully treat things like coughs and colds, influenza (flu), bronchitis, bladder infections (cystitis), tonsillitis, ear infections and sinusitis, amongst other problems.

The definition of a chronic situation is that the body does not get better on its own. Drugs can relieve symptoms, but at this Perth naturopathic clinic, using the principles outlined above, we find that homeopathy is especially useful and in many cases health can be restored. Examples of chronic conditions are allergies, hay fever, asthma, migraines, irritable bowel syndrome, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), back pain and sciatica, ADD and ADHD and mental and emotional issues including anxiety, panic attacks, addiction to alcohol and drugs, and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).

• The problems of babies and infants, including colic, reflux, teething, thrush nappy rash, colds and coughs (and other infections as outlined below), bronchitis, croup, bronchiolitis, cradle cap, jaundice, reflux, poor sleep, delayed development, slow walking and talking. Our naturopathic approach, using only homeopathy when treatment is needed, means the medicines are low dose, tasteless and safe and we have never met a Perth baby or child who refused the medicine.
• Children’s problems. Children are the largest age group seen, as homeopathy offers a valid alternative to their many acute problems, including coughs and cold, flu’s, school sores (impetigo), molluscum, ringworm, intestinal worms and parasites, ear infections (otitis media) and glue ear (otitis media with effusion), asthma and growing pains. Children’s problems affecting schoolwork are also treated. ADD and ADHD is a frequently diagnosed condition in Perth, and we have great success in treating it. There are also effective treatments for dyslexia, dyspraxia, global development delay and autism.
• Women’s problems and problems with menses, including irregular periods, period pain (dysmenorrhoea), frequent periods (polymenorrhoea), heavy periods (menorrhagia), PMT, PMS, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) or disorder (PCOD), endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, fibrocystic breast lumps and thrush and candida.
• Fertility issues. Natural treatment of infertility and natural fertility management is one of the main areas treated with naturopathy and homeopathy at this Perth clinic. This involves treatment of amenorrhoea following the oral contraceptive pill, problems of oestrogen dominance related to fibroids and endometriosis, thrush and candida and luteal phase defect, amongst others. Male fertility is also treated.
• Problems of pregnancy and labour. As the majority of the patients at this Perth naturopathic clinic are women, we have much experience in treating their issues. We are therefore pleased that homeopathy is perfectly safe during pregnancy and helps with such issues as morning sickness (nausea of pregnancy), tendency to miscarriage, cramps, varicose veins, pre eclampsia, blood sugar problems and pubic and sacroiliac symphysis pain. It also helps prepare for labour and is useful during labour for failure to progress, poor dilatation and for the trauma and recovery afterwards  
• Menopausal problems including hot flushes, palpitations, low libido, thinning hair, dry skin, dryness of the vagina, low energy, mood swings, sleep problems and other issues.
• Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) and general low energy, poor immunity or anaemia, and other issues affecting energy levels such as blood sugar irregularities or hypoglycaemia.
• Allergies. Holistic treatment involves constitutional homeopathic treatment combined with homeopathic desensitisation for specific allergies. When combined with our naturopathic approach, many Perth patients are now symptom free. Even anaphylactic reactions can often be eliminated. • Psoriasis and other skin problems including warts, hives (urticaria), boils, abscesses, tinea and fungus, cold sores or herpes, easy bruising (purpure) and nail weakness, splitting and breakage.
• Mental and emotional issues. Anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, nightmares, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), memory problems (and to aid study).

• Bladder infections (cystitis), urinary tract infections (UTI’s), kidney disorders and interstitial cystitis
• Prostate problems, male fertility and other men’s health issues. Prostatitis, benign prostatic, hypertrophy (BPH), PSA issues, low libido, low testosterone, premature ejaculation and erection problems
• Sleep disorders. Insomnia or difficulty falling asleep, restless sleep, waking frequently at night, restless legs syndrome, sleep apnoea and snoring, cramps and frequent dreams and nightmares. As always, this Perth naturopathic clinic treats all health issues, including sleeping problems holistically. This means that we need to fix the problem, not just treat the symptoms by giving a “sleeping tablet”.
